and a person will answer, usually within two working days. Tell us which
iPhone you have and what you were doing — it saves a round trip.
- How do I cancel my subscription?
- Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. On your iPhone open
Settings → your name → Subscriptions, choose Nestful, and tap
Cancel. You keep access until the paid period ends. Deleting the app does not
cancel the subscription.
- I paid but the app still asks me to subscribe.
- Open the subscription screen and tap Restore purchases.
That re-reads your receipt from Apple. If you bought on a different Apple ID,
sign in with that one first.
- How do I get a refund?
- Refunds are handled by Apple at
reportaproblem.apple.com. We have
no way to issue them ourselves.
- The calorie or portion estimate looks wrong.
- Tap the meal and edit the weight — the numbers recalculate. The app judges
portions from what it can see, so a photo taken straight down, or one with no
fork or hand for scale, is genuinely harder. Putting a utensil in the frame
noticeably improves it.
- It flagged something I believe is fine.
- Flags describe what is visible in the photo, and the app errs toward
mentioning things. It also works the other way: it will tell you when a food
you were worried about is actually fine. If a flag looks plainly wrong, send us
the photo — that is how the app gets better.
- Is this medical advice?
- No. Nestful is a wellness app: it estimates what is in your food and points
out well-established food-safety facts about pregnancy. It does not diagnose,
prescribe, or replace your doctor or midwife. Anything that concerns you about
your pregnancy belongs with them.
- Where is my data kept?
- On your phone. There is no account and no server copy — see the
privacy policy. Settings has
Export my data and Delete everything.
- I changed phones and my diary is gone.
- Because nothing is stored on a server, your history moves only with an
iPhone backup. Restoring the new phone from an iCloud or computer backup brings
it across; setting the phone up as new does not.
- Can I use it after the baby arrives?
- Yes. Switch the app to breastfeeding in Settings and the targets change, as
do the safety rules — several pregnancy restrictions no longer apply.
